SANTA CLARITA LIVING
Your weekend in the valley · from Michelle and Jon Dubner

Jon and I checked every date, time and official link Wednesday. We also added our new Red Hawk listing and both weekend open houses. Here is the fun-first list for October 16 through 18. |

Our Two Picks The plans Michelle and Jon would choose |
 | Michelle's Pick Sheriff's Halloween Carnival & Haunted Jail House I love a holiday, and this one also supports the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. The haunted jailhouse, costumes, games and local give-back make this my pick for Sunday. |
|
 | Jon's Pick BARK FOR LIFE Jon likes something active that also gives back. This one adds dogs, a costume parade, games and fundraising for the American Cancer Society. |

 | Behind the Brand Why this week's picks sound like us I will almost always choose the holiday outing, and the Haunted Jailhouse also supports the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. Jon likes something active that helps people, which made BARK FOR LIFE an easy choice for him. Add a new home to share and it feels like a full Santa Clarita weekend. |

Weekend Challenge Choose the plan that feels most like October A circus ticket, a pumpkin-patch morning, dogs in costume or a campfire at the rocks. One well-chosen plan is enough. |
